We'd like to introduce you to Andy Linch, Logistics Coordinator for Jarrett. Read his answers to the questions below to find out more about Andy!
How long have you been at Jarrett?
I have been working at Jarrett since October 2017.
What is the best part of working in your department?
I really enjoy the coworkers I get to work with on a daily basis. Everyone is extremely helpful and they work great as a team.
Favorite memory at Jarrett so far?
A group of employees from my previous team got together and went to Cedar Point. It was a lot of fun spending time with coworkers outside of work.
What is your favorite quote?
There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.
Which employee perk that Jarrett offers do you enjoy the most? Why?
I take full advantage of Zephyrs being next door and am able to work out on my lunch every day.
Who has been a mentor for you here at Jarrett? How have they helped you?
I have been working under Jared Williams since October and he has been very helpful in my personal development process. He has pushed me to be more of a leader within my team and is always a good resource when help is needed.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
"Yes Netflix, I am still watching."
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I wish I could learn to be more handy around the house. I am completely useless other than to hold a flashlight.
How is Jarrett “different”? (Compared to other company cultures you may have experienced)
The difference between Jarrett and other companies is definitely the importance they put on their employees. Jarrett is one of the first companies I have worked for that Work-Life balance and family are held in high regard.
Share a time you felt valued or appreciated by someone at Jarrett or by a customer.
When I went on my Honeymoon all my coworkers “decorated” my desk. It took me most of the morning when I got back to take it all down.
