From the Classroom to the Field, Character is Everywhere
Students at Orrville Elementary, Middle and High School all participated in Character Education Week, which kicked off with the Character Football Game. During halftime, students walked alongside community members holding Character banners and posters displaying this year’s theme: “Good Character is at our Core!"

The Heartland Education Community, Inc., was formed in the early 1990s to explore ways to leverage the talent and resources of the community for the betterment of education. From its founding, Heartland has intended to strengthen the sense of partnership between segments of the community – schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, parents, and churches.

Join us for a private concert with country music artist Phil Vassar! Most notable for his greatest hits, including Just Another Day in Paradise, Carlene and Six Pack Summer, Vassar made his debut on the country music scene in the late 1990s, co-writing singles for several country artists, including Tim McGraw's "For a Little While" and "My Next Thirty Years," Jo Dee Messina's "Bye, Bye" and "I'm Alright," Collin Raye's "Little Red Rodeo" and Alan Jackson's "Right on the Money."
