Elevated fire weathers are expected in southern California where dry conditions and locally gusty winds will linger into Thursday. A very cold airmass remains in place across the East Coast. Snow squalls could lead to reduced visibilities and deteriorating road conditions in the Rockies beginning Thursday night. West Virginia
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 AM EST Friday morning
- Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches, with localized amounts up to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph, especially on the ridges.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact this morning and evening commutes. Moderate to locally heavy snow will overspread the area this morning. The snow will turn more showery this evening, with a snow squall possible, before gradually tapering off late tonight.

- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches.
- Impacts: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches.
- Impacts: Moderate to heavy snow may reduce visibilities or create slick road conditions. Heaviest snow is most likely during the afternoon on Friday. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday and Friday commutes.
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 11 AM MST Friday morning
- West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible.
- Impacts: Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.

- Visibility one quarter mile or less in freezing fog.

- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
- Impacts: Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 8 PM MST this evening
- Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
- Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2 AM MST Friday morning
- Southwest winds gusting up to 70 mph occurring.
- Impacts: Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult along Interstate 90.
