Summary:
A Pacific storm will continue to bring freezing rain and dangerous icing conditions through the Columbia River Gorge and heavy snow across the Washington Cascades. The next arctic blast will spread across much of the central to eastern U.S. An area of low pressure will produce a swath of accumulating snow from the Mid-West into the Mid Atlantic. - Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Texas
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 11 AM MST this morning
- Northeast winds 35 to 45 mph expected.
- Impacts: Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice
- Flooding caused by an ice jam continues.
- Impacts: Flooding of roads and streets will continue. Yards and other low-lying areas along the river will remain inundated by water and ice.
Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until further notice
- Flash flooding caused by the sudden shifting or break up of an ice jam continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Dangerous ice flows or shifting of ice may damage structures along the shore. Additional roads and streets may be flooded. Localized water level fluctuations possible due to an ice jam.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until further notice
- Flooding caused by a combination of elevated river levels and river ice continues.
- Impacts: Flooding of low-lying and flood prone locations.
California
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM PST Sunday afternoon
- Snow expected. Snow accumulations of 6 to 18 inches through Sunday afternoon. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 PM PST Saturday evening
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PST Friday morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in patchy dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
