Summary:
A strong weather system will bring the potential for flash flooding, severe thunderstorms, strong to locally damaging non-thunderstorm winds, and high elevation snow to the Hawaiian Islands. Precipitation will overspread most of the eastern third of the country. A prolonged atmospheric river will bring low elevation rain and mountain snow to the Pacific Northwest and California into the Rockies. Montana
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 AM MST Sunday morning
- Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph along the east slopes of the Rocky Mountain Front.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute, especially over higher passes. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 AM MST Sunday morning
- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of between 3 to 6 inches over Raynolds and Targhee Pass and in the West Yellowstone Area, with up to 10 inches over the higher terrain along the Idaho border. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
High WInd Warning remains in effect until 8 PM MST Saturday evening
- West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected.
- Impacts: Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
WInd Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM MST Saturday evening
- Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph occurring.
- Impacts: Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult along Interstate 90.
West Virginia
Flood Warning remains in effect until 2 PM EST this afternoon
- Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Water over roadways is imminent or occurring.

- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Water over roadways is expected.

Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EST this morning
- Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
- Impacts: Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.
