An approaching storm for the Pacific Northwest will track inland and across the northern Plains today into Tuesday; Rainy conditions and strong winds are expected for these areas. High Wind Warning remains in effect until 9 PM MDT Tuesday evening
- West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected.
- Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
New Jersey
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM EDT this afternoon
- Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
- Impacts: At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible.

- Visibility less than one mile in dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM PDT this morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 3 AM PDT Tuesday morning
- North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
