Summary:
A system will produce locally-heavy rain to portions of the Pacific Northwest and strong winds to parts of the northern High Plains today. A warming trend across the central and eastern portions of the U.S. is expected through Wednesday as temperatures gradually moderate from below normal to more seasonable. Montana
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6 AM MDT Wednesday morning
- West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
- Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult especially for high profile vehicles especially on north south highways like US 191 and Montana highway 24.
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening
- West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Florida
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EDT this evening
- Minor tidal flooding along the St. Johns River Basin.
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
California
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM PDT this morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
