Tranquil and near seasonable weather pattern for most of the eastern U.S. expected this weekend. Along the coastline, continuous onshore flow may bring risk of rip currents and coastal flooding. For the west, a strong cold front will increase winds and fire weather concerns, along with heavy mountain snows. Utah
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 12:15 PM MDT Saturday afternoon
- Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches expected, with up to 22 inches for the high points.
- Impacts: Winter driving conditions can be expected along all mountain routes, including higher passes along I-15 and I-70.
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM MDT Saturday morning
- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 8 inches.
- Impacts: Winter driving conditions are expected on most mountain routes, including along I-80.
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4 AM MDT Saturday morning
- North to northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
- Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers.
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM MDT Saturday morning
- Northeast to east winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers.
Florida
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice
- Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Major widespread and long duration flooding occurs, with water rescues and evacuations necessary. Most low-lying homes become uninhabitable due to 2 to 3 feet water depth in many areas of the community on or near the river. Water is over roadways.
Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 5 AM EDT Sunday morning
- Moderate coastal flooding.
- Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including some critical infrastructure will be inundated.
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM EDT Sunday afternoon
- Minor coastal flooding
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
New Mexico
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM MDT this evening
- South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways. Patchy blowing dust may reduce visibility at times on roadways. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

- Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
