Summary:
In Alaska, a large, strong fall storm will bring coastal flooding, strong winds and heavy snow to a large a portion of the northern and western coast and Interior of the state. Monsoonal moisture and a low pressure area (Invest 97W) will produce excessive rain that may lead to flash, urban, small stream, and river flooding across Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. Wyoming
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 10 AM MDT this morning
- West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts around 60 mph expected.
- Impacts: Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.
Florida
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice
- Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Major widespread and long duration flooding occurs near the rivers. Water is over roadways.
Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 6 AM EDT Wednesday morning
- Significant coastal flooding.
- Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including some critical infrastructure will be inundated.
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 AM EDT Wednesday morning
- Minor coastal flooding.
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
