A few strong to severe thunderstorms capable of producing hail are possible across parts of the Upper Midwest on Tuesday. Montana
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 AM MDT Tuesday morning
- Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 1 inch below 6000 feet, with 2 to 4 inches above 6000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
Louisiana
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning
- Visibility one-quarter to one-half mile in dense fog. Local fires producing heavy smoke will likely enhance fog density across the advised area.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Arizona
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PDT this morning
- Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
- Impacts: Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects may become airborne. Minor tree damage possible.
