Summary:
A strong, long-duration atmospheric river will bring excessive rainfall, flash flooding, and very strong winds to southwest Oregon and northwest California through Thursday. A High Risk (level 4 of 4) of Excessive Rainfall has been issued. A storm system over the northern Plains will produce locally heavy snow in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Impacted Lanes: US-2, I-40, I-5, I-90, I-82, I-84, I-80, I-94, I-29, I-35, I-65, I-43, I-25, I-24, I-49, I-10, I-55, I-12, I-20, I-85, I-26, I-95, I-81, I-64, I-77, I-79, I-99, I-86, I-88, I-74, I-71, I-70, I-75, I-76


Washington
Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 10 AM PST this morning

  • Blizzard conditions expected for elevations above 2500 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph for portions of US 2.
  • Impacts: Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM PST this afternoon

  • Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
  • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM PST this evening 

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 9 inches.
  • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions.

High Wind Warning remains in effect until 10 AM PST this morning

  • South to Southeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM PST this morning

  • Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 1 PM PST this afternoon

  • Minor coastal flooding possible. Inundation of around 2 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low- lying coastal areas.
  • Impacts: Minor coastal flooding due to tidal overflow is expected around high tide. This may lead to flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads, with only isolated road closures expected.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 4 AM PST Saturday morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Water may be over roadways. 

Oklahoma
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 3 PM CST Thursday afternoon

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. 

Ohio
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EST this morning

  • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM EST this evening

  • West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
