Moderate to heavy rain with a flooding risk will continue for northern and central California, with heavy mountain snow in the Sierras, southern Cascades, and northern Rockies through Friday. A series of winter storms will track from the Upper Midwest to off the Northeast U.S. coast into next week bringing rounds of moderate to locally heavy rain south of their track and ice and snow to the north. Pennsylvania
Ice Storm Warning remains in effect until 12:15 PM EST Thursday afternoon
- Significant icing expected Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Ice accumulations between three and five tenths of an inch from freezing rain, preceded by snow and sleet accumulation of an inch or less.
- Impacts: Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 PM EST Thursday afternoon
- Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations between one tenth and two tenths of an inch.
- Impacts: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.

- Impacts: Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Motorists should be aware of sudden and strong crosswinds.

Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM CST this morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

- Visibility one quarter mile or less in freezing fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM MST this afternoon
- South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Strong cross winds can be expected along east-west oriented roads. Localized areas of blowing dust may also yield periods of reduced visibility. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers.
