Michigan
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM EDT this morning
- Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches.
- Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
Mississippi
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice
- Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 7 AM CDT Thursday morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
California
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM PDT Thursday evening
- South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected on high ridges.
- Impacts: Wind gusts will be particularly strong along windward ridges and exposed coastal headlands. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other debris on roadways. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
