Thunderstorms will continue to bring heavy to excessive rain and possible flooding over the middle and lower Texas Gulf Coast through tonight. A Pacific storm will continue to bring gusty to high winds, hazardous seas, low elevation rain, and mountain snow to the Pacific Northwest through Friday. Texas
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:30 AM CDT this morning
- Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
- Impacts: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Flood Warning remains in effect until 4 AM CDT Sunday morning
- Moderate flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Water over roadways is expected.
Michigan
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 PM EDT Sunday evening
- Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to 4 inches and ice accumulations up to three tenths of an inch through tonight. The heaviest accumulating ice will begin this evening. Additional snowfall accumulations possible Saturday night and Sunday. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
- Impacts: Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be very difficult to nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
Ice Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 PM EDT Sunday evening
- Significant icing expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations between one tenth and one half of an inch this evening through tonight. Additional snow and ice accumulations are possible Saturday night through Sunday.
- Impacts: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.

- Icing expected. Total ice accumulations up to a quarter inch expected, mainly tonight. Up to a tenth of an inch of ice possible this morning. Additional ice and snow accumulations possible Saturday night and Sunday.
- Impacts: Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.
