A Pacific storm will bring mountain snow, rain, and strong winds to the Pacific Northwest. This storm will then push into the Central U.S., bringing an impactful winter storm over the Upper Midwest Tuesday through Wednesday. Severe thunderstorms are expected in the Central U.S, as well as a multi-day heavy rain and flooding event Wednesday through Friday from the Ohio Valley the Mid South. Minnesota
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 PM CDT Wednesday evening
- Heavy snow, mixing with some freezing rain and sleet today into Wednesday morning. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 7 inches and ice accumulations of a glaze.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

High Wind Warning remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening
- West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
- Impacts: Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Dangerous crosswinds will create difficult driving conditions on north-to-south oriented roads, especially for high profile vehicles such as large trucks.
