An ongoing heat wave will continue today and Tuesday from much of the Great Plains to the lower Mississippi River Valley and into northern Florida. Dangerous heat is also expected in southern California and Puerto Rico. Scattered severe thunderstorms will be possible over parts of the Upper Midwest today with destructive wind gusts possible for parts of Minnesota into Wisconsin. Flood Warning remains in effect until 5 PM CDT Tuesday evening
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations continues. Numerous roads remain closed across northern and western St. Louis County due to flooding.
Arizona
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 8:30 AM MST this morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
Louisiana
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening
- Minor coastal flooding.
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
Tennessee
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning
- Visibility less than or equal to one quarter of a mile in patchy dense fog.
- Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
