Summary:
The remnants of Beryl will move through the Ohio Valley and Northeast Wednesday with heavy rainfall which may bring flooding and a few severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and tornadoes. A dangerous heat wave with record temperatures is expected to continue across much of the Western U.S. with hot temperatures for parts of North Carolina through southern New England. Impacted Lanes: I-10, I-90, I-35, I-80, I-70, I-74, I-69, I-65, I-57, I-94, I-196, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-71


Texas
Flood Warning remains in effect until 10:45 AM CDT this morning

  • Flooding caused by runoff from excessive rainfall is expected.
  • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

Indiana
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM EDT this afternoon

  • Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 5 PM EDT this evening

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Water over roadways.

Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EDT this afternoon

  • Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Wet ground could cause trees to be more easily uprooted. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 

California
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM PDT this morning

  • Visibility less than one mile in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Additional Flood Watches include but are not limited to: New Mexico, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine
