Summary:
Hazardous heat will persist over much of interior California, the central Great Basin, northern Rockies and Northern Plains into Thursday. Heavy to excessive rainfall will persist across the Southeast US. through mid-week. The Southwest Monsoon will continue to bring a flash flooding threat to the Four Corners Region this week. Impacted Lanes: I-10, I-69, I-45, I-49, I-20, I-55, I-59, I-95


Maine
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning

  • Visibility of a quarter-mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Arizona
Blowing Dust Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this evening

  • Visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust expected.
  • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility.

North Carolina
Flood Watch remains in effect until 11:59 PM EDT Thursday evening

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Water over roadways is possible. 

Additional Flood Watches include but are not limited to: Oregon, California, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and South Carolina
