Summary:
Heavy rainfall, strong winds and coastal impacts continue to affect Puerto Rico and USVI as Ernesto tracks northward. Meanwhile, frontal system was lifting northward across the center of the nation with more showers, thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. Heat concerns continue for the Southern Plains, Gulf Coast and most of Florida. Fire Weather and Air Quality concerns linger for Pacific Northwest. Impacted Lanes: I-29, I-80, I-35, I-44, I-55, I-555, I-70, I-94, I-40


Arkansas
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning

  • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
  • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Georgia
Flood Warning remains in effect until 1:30 PM EDT this afternoon

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
  • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

Missouri
Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 11:15 AM CDT this morning

  • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
  • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Flood Advisory remains in effect until 10:15 AM CDT this morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
  • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. 

Flood Watch remains in effect until 3 PM CDT this afternoon

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Wisconsin
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning

  • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
