Dangerous heat will spread across the Lower Mississippi Valley, Gulf Coast, and Mid-Atlantic. Another heatwave is building across the Northwest and Northern High Plains through Saturday where several daily record high temperatures are forecast. - Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
Pennsylvania
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9:45 AM EDT this morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Tennessee
Flood Watch remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening
- Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
