Scattered strong to occasionally severe storms will bring the risk of gusty winds and flash flooding from the Ohio/Tennessee Valley into the Mid-Atlantic. Dangerous heat will spread across the Lower Mississippi Valley, Gulf Coast, and Mid-Atlantic. Another heatwave is building across the Northwest and Northern High Plains through Saturday where several daily record high temperatures are forecast. Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
Pennsylvania
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9:45 AM EDT this morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Tennessee
Flood Watch remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening
- Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
