Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 12:45 PM EDT this afternoon
- Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
- Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Massachusetts
Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect until further notice
- Wind: 30-40 mph with gusts to 60 mph
- Impacts: A few roads impassable from debris, particularly within urban or heavily wooded places. Hazardous driving conditions on bridges and other elevated roadways. Scattered power and communications outages.
- Flooding Rain: Peak Rainfall Amounts: around 1 inch
- Impacts: A few places where rapid ponding of water occurs at underpasses, low-lying spots, and poor drainage areas. Several storm drains and retention ponds become near-full and begin to overflow. Some brief road and bridge closures.
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM Saturday afternoon
- Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 2 PM Saturday afternoon
- 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways
- Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated.
