Thunderstorms will continue to produce locally heavy rainfall that may lead to scattered flash flooding in central Texas and a part of the Texas Gulf Coast into Tuesday. Excessive heat is forecast to impact the Southwest U.S. and parts of California Wednesday to Friday. Widespread excessive heat watches and warnings and heat advisories have been issued. Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning
- Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
- Impacts: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9:45 AM CDT this morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Flood Warning remains in effect until 3:15 PM CDT Wednesday afternoon
- Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Moderate flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Water over roadways.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
