      Summary:
      Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding threat continues across the southern Plains and Southeast over the next few days. The flood threat and severe weather also extends into parts of the central High Plains and Mid-Atlantic today. Potentially record-breaking heat expected throughout much of central and southern Texas this upcoming week; Excessive heat for most of Puerto Rico continues. I-95 in Philadelphia is closed for the foreseeable future due to collapse from vehicle fire. Impacted Lanes: I-95, I-84, I-80, I-76, I-25, I-40, I-44, I-10, 

      New Mexico
      Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 7 AM MDT this morning

      • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
      • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

      Texas
      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9:15 AM CDT this morning

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water may be over roadways. 

      Flood Warning remains in effect until 5 PM CDT this afternoon

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
      • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

      Oregon
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM PDT Tuesday evening

      • West to northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 50 to 55 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      Summary:
      Scattered showers and thunderstorms with the potential for isolated flash flooding and severe weather continue from the Intermountain West through the Plains into the weekend. This threat also extends into Florida as we are monitoring a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico. Also, new record high temperatures are forecast for the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast into the weekend. Impacted Lanes: I-75, I-95, I-4, I-40, I-27, I-70, I-80, I-29, I-35

      Nebraska
      Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:30 AM CDT this morning

      • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
      • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. 

      Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 PM MDT Saturday evening

      • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

      Texas
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 11:45 AM CDT this morning

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

      Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms capable of damaging wind gusts, hail, and isolated flash flooding will continue across the central and southern High Plains. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy amounts possible, are expected to initiate over the Florida Peninsula. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions in the Southwest. Impacted Lanes: I-10, I-25, I-40, I-335, I-35, I-470, I-49, I-29

      Texas
      Flood Watch remains in effect until 6 AM CDT Thursday morning

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 8:15 AM CDT this morning

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Low-water crossings may be flooded. 

      Flood Warning remains in effect until 8:15 PM CDT Thursday evening

      • Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings may be flooded. 

      California
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 AM PDT Thursday morning

      • West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects may become airborne. Minor tree damage possible.

      Summary:
      Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms capable of gusty winds, hail, and isolated flash flooding will be possible across parts of the Plains through Wednesday. Critical fire weather is possible on Wednesday in southwest New Mexico. Excessive rainfall may result in some flooding in the northern High Plains late this week. Impacted Lanes: I-80, I-580

      Texas
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 4 PM CDT this afternoon

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
      • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

      Colorado
      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening

      • Minor flooding caused by snowmelt is occurring.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated due to high flows from snowmelt. Water over some roadways. 

      California
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM PDT Wednesday morning

      • West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects may become airborne. Minor tree damage possible.

      Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening

      • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible this afternoon and evening.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with heavy rain. Extensive street flooding is also possible in urbanized locations.

      Weak upper level systems is producing widespread showers and thunderstorms, isolated severe, in the High Plains and across most of the Intermountain West. A developing non-tropical low in the Southeast will produce locally heavy rain along the coast. Dry, gusty winds are producing elevated fire weather threats in the Southwest. Impacted Lanes: I-90, I-15, I-84, I-80, I-27, I-40

      Nebraska
      Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:45 AM CDT this morning

      • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
      • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

      Flood Warning remains in effect until 12:45 PM CDT this afternoon

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
      • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. 

      Montana
      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM MDT Saturday

      • Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues.

      Flood Watch remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. 

      South Carolina
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 AM EDT Saturday morning

      • North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected. 
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      North Carolina
      Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 11:59 PM EDT Saturday evening

      • 3 to 4 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
      • Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated.

      Reduced visibilities and air quality concerns will continue across the northern tier of the country from wildfires. Rainfall and severe thunderstorms are forecast for the Southern Plains into the Lower Mississippi Valley. Above-normal and record warmth continues for parts of the West. Heavy rainfall are bringing flooding impacts to portions of Hawaii, American Samoa, and Guam. Impacted Lanes: I-40, I-25, I-70, I-35

      Oklahoma
      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9:45 AM CDT this morning

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

      Colorado
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM MDT this morning

      Kentucky
      Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning

      • Areas of dense fog have developed and will reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less. Fog will linger during the morning commute before lifting and dissipating by mid morning. 
      • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

      Idaho
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 4 PM MDT Friday afternoon

      • Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is occurring.
      • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations will continue. Some roads and low-water crossings will be flooded.

      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM MDT Friday afternoon

      • Ponding of water in low-lying areas and flooding of streams and creeks caused by a combination of rain and melting snow continues.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone areas continues. Water is periodically flooding over a few roadways.

      Kansas
      Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

      • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

      Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning

      • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
      • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

      Colorado
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 12 PM MDT this afternoon

      • Heavy snow ongoing. Additional snow accumulations up to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.

      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM MDT this morning

      • Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways is possible. 

      Flood Watch remains in effect until 12 PM MDT this afternoon

      • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways,  and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. 

      South Dakota
      Wind Advisory  remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening

      • North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Sudden wind gusts can cause drivers to lose control, especially in lightweight or high profile vehicles. Strong winds can cause blowing dust, reduced visibility, and flying debris.

      Flood Warning remains in effect until 10:45 PM MDT this evening

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected to continue.
      • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. 

      New Mexico 
      High Wind Warning remains in effect until 11 AM MDT Saturday morning

      • East winds 25 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible. 
      • Impacts: Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust possible.

      Severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are forecast to impact the central High Plains Wednesday, and larger central Great Plains on Thursday. Excessive rain may lead to flash flooding over eastern Texas into the Ark-La-Tex and the north-central High Plains Wednesday, over the northern High Plains on Thursday, and central Texas on Friday and Saturday. Impacted Lanes: I-29, I-90, I-94, I-10, I-15, I-40, I-70, MN-220, MN-317

      California
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM PDT this afternoon

      • West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Roadways may be affected by gusty cross winds. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

      Idaho
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 4 PM MDT this afternoon

      • Flooding caused by melting snow continues.
      • Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings may be inundated with water and not be passable.

      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM MDT Friday afternoon

      • Flooding caused by melting snow continues.
      • Impacts: Flooding of creeks, streams, low-lying fields, and other flood-prone areas will continue. Some low-water crossings and roads may be flooded, and localized impacts to homes and businesses are possible. 

      Colorado
      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT Thursday evening

      • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 

      Flood Watch remains in effect until 9 AM MDT Friday morning

      • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

      Flood Warning remains in effect until 12 PM MDT Saturday afternoon

      • Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.
      • Impacts: Bankfull conditions are likely on rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations by midnight tonight. Flooding is expected to begin early Thursday morning as streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall and snowmelt. Low-water crossings may be inundated with water and may not be passable. 

      Louisiana
      Flood Watch remains in effect until 9 PM CDT this evening

      • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
