Severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes will impact eastern North Carolina and the south-central Plains Tuesday, and the central High Plains on Wednesday and Thursday. Excessive rain may lead to flash flooding over southeast Texas and into the Ark-La-Tex Tuesday and Wednesday, over the northern High Plains on Thursday, and central Texas on Friday. Impacted Lanes: I-29, I-84, I-15, I-40, I-35, I-44, I-43, I-39
California
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM PDT Wednesday evening
- Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
- Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Areas of blowing dust can suddenly and dangerously reduce visibilities to near zero. Roadways that may be affected by gusty cross winds and blowing dust, include Highways 14 and 138. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM CDT this morning
- Areas of fog. Patchy dense for with visibility less than one half mile.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to rapidly changing visibility and low visibility.
Idaho
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening
- Small stream flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues.
- Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
Flood Warning remains in effect until 4 PM MDT this afternoon
- Flooding caused by melting snow continues.
- Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings may be inundated with water and not be passable.
Flood Watch remains in effect until 4 PM MDT Wednesday afternoon
- Localized flooding caused by a combination of rain and melting snow continues to be possible.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff from rain and melting snow may result in localized flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, low-lying fields, and other flood-prone locations. Some low-water crossings may be flooded, and localized impacts to some roadways, homes, and businesses remain possible.
