      Summary:
      Another Pacific storm will bring additional rounds of heavy coastal and low elevation rain, mountain snow, and high winds to California and southern Oregon. Heavy rain with the potential for flash flooding and isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across portions of the central Gulf coast. A winter storm will continue to impact the north and central interior of Alaska. Impacted Lanes: I-65, I-85, I-5, I-84, I-80, I-280, I-86

      Alabama
      Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning

      • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
      • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

      Flood Warning remains in effect until 1 PM CDT Thursday afternoon

      • Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
      • Impacts: As rivers continue to rise, flooding will occur near the rivers impacted. Water may be over roadways near the rivers. 

      California
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening

      • Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches, except 12 to 20 inches west of Highway 395. Winds gusting up to 45 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph for wind prone locations along US-395. Stronger winds anticipated along the US-395 corridor. Slight decrease in high end of snowfall range. 
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Gusty winds may create whiteout conditions at times and produce considerable drifting of snow.

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM PDT Wednesday morning

      • Heavy snow. Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

      High Wind Warning remains in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening

      • South winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
      • Impacts: Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening

      • South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected. Gusts may exceed 65 mph for wind prone locations along I-580 and US-395. 
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      Summary:
      Strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall will continue across parts of the Southeast through Monday. Another Pacific storm will bring additional rounds of heavy rain and mountain snow to California and the Pacific Northwest late Monday into Wednesday. Widespread dry and windy conditions are expected to bring a relatively active fire weather pattern to the Southern Plains this week. Impacted Lanes: I-65, I-80, I-15, I-25, I-76, I-70, I-225, I-85, I-185, I-75, I-20 

      Oregon
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 PM PDT Tuesday evening

      • Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches except 1 to 4 inches along US-97 between Bend and La Pine and below 4000 feet along US-20. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. 
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PDT Tuesday morning

      • Snow expected above 2500 feet. Total snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM PDT Tuesday afternoon

      • South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
      • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

      Widespread heavy rain and flash flooding is possible across the Mid-Mississippi Valley and Ohio Valley through Friday night along a slow-moving cold front. South of this front will be a severe weather threat from the Southern Plains, the Mid-South, and Lower Mississippi Valley to the Ohio Valley. Chilly temperatures and heavy mountain snowfall will persist for parts of the West.       • Heavy Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 6 inches.

      Summary:
      A nearly stationary frontal boundary will bring potential for heavy rainfall and flash flooding from Oklahoma into the Ohio River Valley over the next few days. Severe weather is also expected for parts the Southern Plains and the Lower Mississippi River Valley on Thursday and Friday with threats of tornadoes, strong winds and hail. Snow is expected for parts of the Cascades and Northern Rockies. Impacted Lanes: I-5, I-84, I-80, I-15, I-90

      Oregon
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 AM PDT Friday morning

      • Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PDT Friday morning

      • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches, with 4 to 8 inches in Northeast Jackson County near Prospect and Butte Falls. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the commute this evening and Friday morning.

      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2 AM PDT Friday morning

      • Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

      Nevada
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 5 PM PDT Friday afternoon

      • Flooding caused by excessive runoff in the Meadow Valley Wash continues.
      • Impacts: Flooding of the Meadow Valley Wash, and low-lying and flood-prone locations adjacent to the wash will continue between Spring Valley State Park and Elgin. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect areas of slow moving or standing water. State Route 322 and State Route 317 closed due to flooding. 

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM PDT Friday morning

      • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches in lower to mid-elevation areas, with 15 or more inches of new snow to locations above 9000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

      A strong storm will move ashore across California today accompanied by strong winds, heavy rain and heavy snow for the higher terrain. Flooding will be of great concern for Southern California into portions of Arizona through Wednesday. Several feet of snow is expected across central and southern California Mountains into the central Great Basin. Snow will impact the northern Plains into tonight. Impacted Lanes: I-10, I-210, I-605, I-15, I-215, I-5, I-40, I-84, I-86, I-17, I-70, I-25, I-90, I-94, I-35, I-44, I-49, I-30, I-69, I-55

      California
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 PM PDT Wednesday evening

      • Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet above 6000 feet and 2-10 inches between 3500 and 6000 feet. Southerly Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.

      South Carolina
      Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning

      • Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and tidal waterways.
      • Impacts: This could result in some roads becoming impassable.

      Arizona
      Flood Watch remains in effect until 9 PM PDT Wednesday evening

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 3 AM PDT Wednesday morning

      • Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects may become airborne. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. In addition, strong winds over desert areas could result in briefly lowered visibilities to well under a mile at times in blowing dust or blowing sand.

      A trough will bring widespread rain and mountain snow across the Western U.S. into Monday with the heaviest snow in the Sierras and central Rockies. A significant storm will push onto the West Coast Tuesday with another round of heavy rain, heavy mountain snow, and high winds.       • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Strong winds could bring down tree branches.

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT Wednesday evening

      • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

      California 
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM PDT Wednesday evening

      • Heavy snow expected. Snowfall of 1 to 2 feet from 5000 to 6000 feet, 2 to 4 feet from 6000 to 7500 feet, and locally 4 feet or more on the higher peaks is expected. Winds gusting as high as 80 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM PDT Wednesday evening

      • Wet snow expected. Snowfall of 6 to 12 inches is expected, mostly above 5000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

      High Wind Warning remains in effect until 10 PM PDT Tuesday evening

      • South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Strong winds could damage trees and other objects. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      • South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 

      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM PDT Wednesday evening

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
      • Impacts: Flooding will be possible in creeks, normally dry washes, swimming holes and over recently burned areas. Low-water crossings could also experience flooding, which would create deadly travel conditions.

      Summary:
      A winter storm will produce heavy lake enhanced and lake effect snow across the Great Lakes region through the weekend causing hazardous travel and rapidly changing road conditions. Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to continue overnight across parts of Texas, and into parts of southern Arkansas and Louisiana; and move into the central Gulf Coast Friday. Impacted Lanes: I-40, I-25, I-35, I-94

      Texas
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM CDT this afternoon

      • South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT Saturday evening

      • Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts possible in the highest elevations.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Difficult travel conditions are possible, especially in the highest terrain.

      Wisconsin
      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 AM CDT Saturday morning

      • Snow showers, becoming heavy at times tonight. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches, with the highest amounts over northwest Vilas County. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph, and producing patchy blowing and drifting snow in open areas.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult, especially tonight.

      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 AM CDT Saturday morning

      • Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches, except 4 to 10 inches for northeast Douglas and northern Bayfield counties.

      • Flooding caused by excessive runoff below Echo Canyon Dam.

      A winter storm is expected to bring widespread heavy snowfall and strong winds to the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes. Flooding impacts will continue in the Southwest due to periods of heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Scattered severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are forecast across parts of the southern Plains Thursday afternoon and evening. Impacted Lanes: I-70, I-25, I-40, I-76, I-80, I-90, I-29, I-35, I-94

      Nebraska
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 AM CDT Friday morning

      • Blizzard conditions possible. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
      • Impacts: Plan on difficult travel. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. 

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening

      • Mixed precipitation and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. North winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility, including near whiteout conditions at times. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute Thursday. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

      • Minor coastal flooding expected.

      • South winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 

      High Wind Warning remains in effect until 10 PM CDT this evening

      • In the Guadalupe and Delaware Mountains, west winds 40 to 55 mph with gusts up to 80 mph are expected. In the Davis Mountains, west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected.
      • Impacts: Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      Summary:
      The atmospheric river will continue to impact California into Wednesday. This potent storm is expected to produce heavy mountain snow and gusty winds from the Sierra to the central/northern Rockies. As the cold front moves into the Southwest, locally heavy rain could lead to isolated flooding over parts of central Arizona. A storm in the Gulf of Alaska will bring a wintry mix to southeast Alaska. Impacted Lanes: I-81, I-87, I-88, I-86, I-90, I-95, I-89, I-91, I-15, I-84, I-80, I-70,  I-40, I-10, I-17, I-8, I-215 

      Montana
      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening

      • Snow and blowing snow. Total valley snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Periods of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could cause a few power outages and some damage to trees branches.

      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening

      • Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

      Nevada
      Flood Warning remains in effect until 5 PM PDT Friday evening

      • Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.
      • Impacts: Flooding of Meadow Valley Wash, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Meadow Valley Wash continues to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall and snowmelt. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PDT this morning

      • Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
      • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. 

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PDT this morning

      • Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph. 
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.

      Flood Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening

      • Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. Roadways may be covered. 

      Wyoming
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening

      • Periods of heavy snow. Additional snow accumulation after 5 AM will generally range between 4 and 8 inches. Sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph are expected with gusts to 45 mph at times especially in open areas or ridge tops. 
      • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult over the western mountain passes, especially during the Wednesday morning commute. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. 

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11:59 PM MDT this evening

      • Periods of light to briefly moderate snow. Additional snow accumulations after 5 AM is expected to range between 1 and 2 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph at times.
      • Impacts: Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday`s morning commute.

      High Wind Warning remains in effect until 12 PM MDT this afternoon

      • Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
      • Impacts: Mainly to transportation. Elevated blow over risk for lightweight and high-profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.  

      North Dakota
      Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning

      • Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog.
      • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
