      Summary:
      Areas of low pressure and monsoonal moisture may produce heavy to excessive rainfall with the possibility of flooding in Guam and the Northern Marianas. Breezy and dry conditions may produce locally critical fire weather conditions in Connecticut. Above average temperatures will continue across the central and eastern U.S and some locations in the Southern Plains. Impacted Lanes: I-80, I-40, I-26, I-95, I-295, I-293, I-93, I-89, I-10, I-45, I-69, I-75

      Florida
      Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice

      • Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
      • Impacts: Major flooding occurs with water entering many structures on canals and along the river. Long duration flooding will occur, with levels taking weeks to months to return below flood stage. Water rescues will be necessary. Roads becomes inaccessible, with 1 to 2 feet water depth on numerous roads. 

      Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 4 AM EDT Thursday morning

      • Moderate coastal flooding.
      • Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including some critical infrastructure will be inundated.

      Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 4 AM EDT Thursday morning

      • Minor coastal flooding.
      • Impacts: Minor flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.

      Louisiana
      Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning

      • Visibility less than one mile in dense fog.
      • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

      Nevada
      Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening

      • Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph, are expected.
      • Impacts:  Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

      In Alaska, a large, strong fall storm will bring coastal flooding, strong winds and heavy snow to a large a portion of the northern and western coast and Interior of the state. Monsoonal moisture and a low pressure area (Invest 97W) will produce excessive rain that may lead to flash, urban, small stream, and river flooding across Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.       • West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts around 60 mph expected.

      A few severe thunderstorms and localized heavy rainfall will affect portions of the Plains through Monday. Meanwhile, a strong Pacific system is expected to move ashore with strong winds and accumulating snow for the highest terrain. For Alaska, an early season winter storm to bring dangerous seas, strong winds and heavy snow through early this week. The United States east coast remains tranquil.       New Mexico

      • Impacts:  Major widespread and long duration flooding occurs near the rivers. Water is over roadways. 

      Colorado
      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 12:15 PM MDT this afternoon

      • Snow. Additional snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches, with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
      • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

      Oregon
      Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 PM PDT this evening

      • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
      • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Water may be over roadways.

      Summary:
      Tranquil and near seasonable weather pattern for most of the eastern U.S. expected this weekend. Along the coastline, continuous onshore flow may bring risk of rip currents and coastal flooding. For the west, a strong cold front will increase winds and fire weather concerns, along with heavy mountain snows. Rainfall for lower elevations could lead to flash flooding for the southern High Plains. Impacted Lanes: I-15, I-70, I-80, I-40, I-26, I-10, I-25, I-90, I-94, I-75, I-95, I-4, I-64, I-195

      Utah 
      Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 12:15 PM MDT Saturday afternoon

      • Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches expected, with up to 22 inches for the high points.
      • Impacts: Winter driving conditions can be expected along all mountain routes, including higher passes along I-15 and I-70.

      Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM MDT Saturday morning

      • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 8 inches.
      • Impacts: Winter driving conditions are expected on most mountain routes, including along I-80. 

      High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4 AM MDT Saturday morning

      • North to northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
      • Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers.

      Summary:
      Milton is moving off the Florida East Coast this morning. Gradual weakening is expected with Milton forecast to become a powerful extratropical low tonight well off the southeast U.S. coast. Life-threatening storm surge, heavy to excessive rainfall, and damaging hurricane-force winds, especially in gusts, will continue for a few more hours this morning over east-central and northeastern Florida. Impacted Lanes: I-75, I-95, I-4, I-10, I-26, I-526, I-77, I-20, I-75, I-16

      Florida
      Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning

      • Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
      • Impacts: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

      Hurricane Warning remains in effect until further notice

      • Wind: Equivalent Tropical Storm force wind; Peak Wind Forecast: 35-45 mph with gusts to 65 mph; Potential for wind 74 to 110 mph.
      • Impacts: Several large trees snapped or uprooted, but with greater numbers in places where trees are shallow rooted. Several fences and roadway signs blown over. Some roads impassable from large debris, and more within urban or heavily wooded places. A few bridges, causeways, and access routes impassable. Scattered power and communications outages, but more prevalent in areas with above ground lines.
      • Flooding Rain: Peak Rainfall Amounts: Additional 3-6 inches, with locally higher amounts
      • Impacts: Localized rainfall flooding may prompt a few evacuations. Rivers and tributaries may quickly rise with swifter currents. Small streams, creeks, canals, and ditches may become swollen and overflow in spots. Flood waters can enter a few structures, especially in usually vulnerable spots. A few places where rapid ponding of water occurs at underpasses, low-lying spots, and poor drainage areas. Several storm drains and retention ponds become near-full and begin to overflow. Some road and bridge closures.

      Storm Surge Warning remains in effect until further notice

      • Life-threatening storm surge possible;  The potential for 3-5 feet above ground somewhere within surge prone areas.
      • Impacts: Areas of inundation with storm surge flooding accentuated by waves. Damage to several buildings, mainly near the coast. Sections of near-shore escape routes and roads become weakened or washed out, especially in usually vulnerable low spots.

      • One to two feet of inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and tidal waterways.
      • Impacts: Significant saltwater inundation will render numerous roads impassable. Properties may also flood.

      • Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and tidal waterways.
      • Impacts: Saltwater inundation will impact some roads.
